Off thread I know, but I see respect between our elected representatives is hardly alive and kicking with Cllr Driver referring to the deputy leader of TDC as 'Poole the fool' on his blogsite. Probably means no chance of going back to Labour if the Green lot does not work out.
Following from another Cllr shouting that all at a meeting were homophobes, as he left in a rage, one is left to wonder to what depths Thanet politics can descend.
Is it all down to a few renegades or a collective losing of the plot.
I think it's fair to say William that the "quality" of the independants in Thanet is piss poor.
You have 1 that is and always will be a 1 trick pony, and Driver who will leap upon any bandwagon for his own engrandishment, but clearly stands for absolutely nothing as his adoption of his 4th party in under a year shows very nicely.
The sooner the turds are flushed from Thanet politics, the better.
