Thanet politics

Between The Red Hat club, the comedy side show that is Driver and his pet monkey, the Worrow "homophobe under the bed" witch hunt who's scope McCarthy could only dream of replicating, and the comedy that is the Labour group bribing "in dependant" councillors with chairmanships (paid of course ;-) )of committee's so they can stay in power, you have to wonder when the comedy that is Thanet politics will hit the big screen :-)

We are treated to the spectacle that is Driver piously condemning "double hatting", having double hatted for some years, resigning an unpaid "hat" whilst retaining a paid one, in an attempt to secure a better paid one, but keeping hold of the one he already has that pays, so that when he inevitably disappears without trace when running in elections with REAL politicians, he can still raid the public purse for his inept and self serving machinations, whilst finding a new bandwagon to promote himself from daily.

No wonder he doesn't allow uncensored comment on his site, you have to feel sorry for him really, he doesn't deserve it, but I do pity him.

Yet more sidesplitting comedy!

Honestly, I have rarely laughed as hard as I have at the site I linked to yesterday, and this one!

To think that anyone takes this seriously, and actually believes that it has any value beyond comedic makes it even funnier, it's like the gift that keeps on giving!

THIEF, STOP THIEF, where is Driver!

So council art "treasures" are apparently missing from where they have been stored by TDC, inspite of there being no catalogue of what is supposed to be there, and councillors are apparently hiding the loss for nefarious purposes! Cllr Driver has been called in to investigate!

You can't make this stuff up!

There has been a "theft" so what we should clearly do is NOT call the police, but to call a loud mouthed, ill informed bullshitter called Driver to sensationalise the issue of the missing "treasures" as much as humanly possible to help him in his election to his 3rd council position!

Driver tells us he knows the names of the councillors hiding the theft, but as he has no evidence whatsoever, he will not be making those names public as they will rightfully sue Driver for all he's worth! If you have the evidence Driver, why do you not name these people, and if you don't why don't you simply STFU until you do..

If there is suspicion of theft, CALL THE POLICE, that's what they are there for. All Driver is there to do is make a lot of pointless noise, and promote Driver, no more, and probably less!

Just a final note, what "treasures" did TDC own? Arc of the covenant, holy grail  maybe the original tablets given to moses?

Yet another non issue for Driver to leap on, seems Pleasurama is no longer newsworthy enough, just like QEQM, Tesco's, animal exports and the Broadstairs health practice before them!

What a shame that KCC elections don't require a reasonable deposit as the commisioner's election did. What happened to the money that was donated to that lost cause Driver, was it returned, or has it been quietly diverted to this lost cause..

The reason for all Drivers bandwagon jumping becomes obvious, when is the KCC election again? Is there anything the clown Driver won't try to get elected to! Shame there isn't a large deposit required like there was to Police comminioner.

Cllr Driver has come nearly full circle

How entertaining, Seems Driver has a history of being elected under 1 (dishonestly displayed) hat, only to cast it off at his own convenience (aware that without it, he would have been unelectable) to pursue his own agenda, own to be thrown out on his (not insubstantial) arse when trying to promote his own laughable opinions.

Roll on the elections, and get this clown and one trick pony Worrow out of Thanet politics, so that the needs of Thanetians can be attended to, and wasting time and money on fictitious "emergencies" and hand wringing over who can marry who, and the ceaseless search for "homophobes" can finally end.

Seriously, why would anyone to the right of Uncle Joe Stalin possibly want to pop along to the left wing love in held by "Thanet’s Independent Media Society", to listen to Driver shout bullshit, at a volume that should be reserved for avoiding being run down by whichever bandwagon he is currently being conveyed on. There will certainly be claims of 100's in attendance (the truth will be closer to 14), and a 5th rate video produced, that will only be watched by the 14 that attended.

As usual, ms Tongue's volume far exceeds her relevance. Sadly she reflects Thanet politics, but steps should be taken to stop her and her TINY band of disaffected OAP Stalinists hijacking Thanet politics, so some progress can be made.

I think it speak volumes that the only politician willing to be associated with her is already a joke, step forward Driver, your bandwagon master awaits.

(anyone else find it amusing how fast Driver leaps off bandwagons that no longer receive press attention, and that even his pleas for help to the occutards are answered by only the most delusional and mentally ill members of that failed organisation ;-) )

Drivers pet does her heroes bidding....again

I had to take a walk to stop laughing at the antics of drivers lil pet Tongue.

The prospect of a "question time format" self congratulationary love in, held at the red hat comedy group is funny enough. Then we have the sponsors of the love in describing themselves as "Thanet’s Independent Media Society" publisher of the comic Thanet Watch", that is similar to the editors of Pravda describing themselves as right wing, or the editors of the Mail claiming to show communism in a favourable light.

When I had finally regained my composure having laughed myself into helplessness over the previous revelations, I then read Cllr Driver and the word "expert" in the same sentence! All cllr Driver can be described as an expert in is leaping Nijinsky style at any and all passing bandwagons, and them using the exposure to shout incorrect, laughable, untrue, unsupportable bullshit far and wide, all faithfully recorded by his lil pet Tongue, trotting along like a good lil minion, recording all Drivers bullshit like his faithful puppy, to stupid to realise she is being made to look as stupid as Driver.

Driver wants a minion for some "direct action" up goes her hand, straining like a 6 year old trying to get teachers attention. She cuts a tragic and desperate figure, her and Driver are truly well matched.

I look forward to the question time event, it will be highly amusing to see the usual bullshit from Driver, hero worship from Tongue, and the repeating of some f the most amusing, and inaccurate bullshit it's possible to find outside a beef farm.

I wonder if Driver will have the balls to name the names he claims to have, that he claims are corrupt, or whether he will simply continue to be the portly irrelevant clown he has thus far proved himself to be.

Nice to see a Cllr supporting a "fuck John Hamilton day". How does one go about complaining about such disgusting behaviour by a councillor? One would think Driver had supported enough law breaking when he encouraged and caused the defacement of the hoarding at Pleasurama.

PS Ever noticed that Driver's lil pet's meetings are ALWAYS emergency meetings, yet the emergency never materialises? I think she has WAY to much time on her hands, and judging by her 4th rate videos, not enough talent to fill it.

Will pleasurama deevelopment happen by default?

Pleasurama, a catalogue of tragic, but wholly predictable TDC ineptitude, coupled with the worst recession in over 100 years, and the result is the eyesore that currently pollutes Ramsgate Sands.

Looking back over the debacle, TDC had already ensured the death of Ramsgate sands as a destination by pedestrianising the beach front, and removing the vast majority of the parking, ensuring a LONG walk for families with children, and after the fire, little to do except lay on the beach.

Fast forward 14 years, and what do we have. A building site with nothing built on it, a well meaning pressure group trying to do something about it, and the king of the bandwagon passengers cllr Ian "gob almighty" Driver.

Sadly some of the group appears to be all to ready to follow Drivers inane and rabble sousing, self promotional bluster, whilst another part of the group appear to simply be pedants, dragging up the same irrelevant, unimportant, open to question, superfluous and pedantic simply for the sake of pedantry red herrings time and time again.

On the one hand it's argued by Driver, that the site is being sold for a "bargain basement price" of £3.3 million! Yet, some of the same people who cheer Driver's bluster, then go on to claim that this prime building plot (Driver's definition) is in imminent and terrible danger of a mortal cliff fall, thence to be immediately washed away by the Noah like flood that is CERTAIN to follow by the end of next week!

It has to be asked, how is a relatively small site, subject to such mortal dangers, worth £3.3 million! Driver of course has no answer to that, and the promoters of the mass grave that the site will certainly become if built on, remain stoically silent when challenged.

I understand people don;t like the development, but to be fair, that was an argument to be had at the planning stage. Even if SFP are removed as developer, the planning permission remains valid, and no matter how try to promote parks, crazy golf (crazy golf, REALLY, i believe that became non viable in the 90's!) etc TDC simply don't have the fund to build that particular fairy story.

the ONLY way to get something done there is to try to get the current permission altered to something more appealing. It MUST be viable, and real world, it must be profitable enough to find a developer willing to build it!

No matter how much time the deluded directors of companies that administer to housing association stock, who i would suggest could be described as a vested interest, allege when they have practised their hobby of worrying over irrelevant minutiae, which they inaccurately describe as forensic accountancy, want the group to waste chasing shadows and red herrings, the fact has to kept in prime focus, ANYTHING developed on the site has to be viable and self supporting, both in construction and ongoing, and attractive to the holiday maker 

I need John Worrow's help!

I'm told that apparently there is an imminent "International fuck John Hamilton day" being held, and supported by the ever inclusive, and willing to jump on even this passing bandwagon, cllr Driver!

Clearly this constitutes a hetrophobic attack upon my person, and I reach out to Cllr Worrow in his capacity as equality councillor to come to my aid in this outrageous attack clearly based on my sexuality, and supported by the clearly hetrophobic cllr Driver.

I am considering calling the Police/MI6/Special Branch/SAS and anyone else who'll listen (if they won't listen, clearly they will also be clearly hetrophobic), to deal with this highly upsetting and deeply wounding attack. It is clear that some councillors such as Driver need to examine their consciousness, and reconsider whether, in light of their support for such an attack upon me (amoung MANY other reasons), and his publishing of pornographic material on his facebook page, that could quite easily be accessed by the children of his constituents, innocently looking for their councillor on Facebook, they are fit to hold public office.

I call on cllr Worrow to institute an immediate full public enquiry into this matter without delay!

More allegations Driver doesn't have the balls to publish

I see that Driver once again publishes more bullshit that he purports is true, doesn't reveal the people involved, where the report comes from, or any supporting evidence.

If only driver was prepared to try to prove his allegations, their veracity could be tested, but as we know, he simply throws mud, hopes some will stick to someone, so he can have a couple of column inches all to himself.

Have the courage of your convictions Driver, name the names you claim to have, and the source of the alleged report.

On a separate note, I have had a report passed to me that apparently some have suggested that a silly fat wanker is on the loose in Thanet, along with a deluded OAP who hangs on his every word as if passed down by a passing deity, no matter how ridiculous his/her rantings, trying to make his/her self the major talking point in the region ahead of some elections that may take place in the near future, in an effort to raise their profile.

Apparently I'm told, lies and made up non stories are created to position themselves in a favourable light, in spite of their shallow self promotion being clear and obvious to all. Apparently the silly fat wanker has a blog site that is nothing but perverse and highly questionable pseudo pornography, and I am led to believe he is a highly unsavoury character. Of course I have NO idea whether these allegations are true, no any way to asses their accuracy, but I do know many in Thanet who have encountered this person, who confirm to me that the above report is in their opinion entirely accurate.

Drivers pet clamours publicity

Having had a little look for Drivers pet videographer's latest 4th rate offering, I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that as she has nothing of value to offer, she reposts the last home movie, under a new title, hopefully trying to pass it of as her latest daubing.

Dear dear, it appears she is running out of ways to try to get her hero some covereage, no matter how sad and desperate. Keep it coming Tongue, I always welcome a good laugh, and you certainly seem happy to provide it!
